Our May cooking class all about salads went so well that we’ve decided to host monthly cooking class at Bow & Arrow focused on salads! Every month you’ll learn new techniques for making refreshing & delicious salads using the best local produce!
During this unique experience you’ll learn some new culinary skills, cook with the best local produce, and share a delicious meal with old & new friends.
. .
The produce we use for our classes is 100% driven by what our local farm partners have that week. We can guarantee you’ll be making a delicious salad full of local, extra-fresh and nutrient dense veggies.
For our JUNE salad class you can expect to still see a variety of late spring greens and lettuces, along with the early summer produce like zucchinis and cucumbers!
We always make sure that our salads are balanced with fats, proteins, and grains too – we promise you won’t leave hungry! Our recipes can always be made vegan, gluten free, or most accommodate dietary preferences (as long as you let as know ahead of time).
We are so excited to be partnering with the first Native women-owned brewery! Their beer menu includes unique sour beers and uses indigenous ingredients, like foraged wild sumac, prickly pears, Navajo tea leaves, and juniper berries. To learn more visit their instagram and website to their beautifully crafted beer cans and stories.
This class is for someone who wants a unique cooking experience. You’ll learn about local farms, sustainability, nutrition, and cooking techniques. Our recipes focus on teaching you how to utilize and cook with seasonal produce, but it doesn’t matter if you are a vegetarian, vegan, or carnivore – we all need to eat more plants!
Whether you’re a beginner or more seasoned cook, everyone can learn from our classes. We always have extra staff who can help with additional instruction if needed.
