This dish celebrates the very best flavors of summer: basil, tomatoes and peaches!
What’s on the menu?
- We’ll make a classic basil pesto! You can get creative or substitute different greens (kale, arugula, etc) and nuts (piñon, walnut, sunflower seeds) too. Making pesto is a great way to use up greens in a tasty way!
- Cherry tomatoes will get a quick blister to concentrate their sweet and tangy flavor. The peaches will also get a quick sear to caramelize their sweetness.
- Then we’ll saute chickpeas in a mix of spices to balance out our meal + add some crunch.
- We’ll pile it all on some pasta & enjoy.
What will the live, virtual cooking class look like?
Cooking classes take place on zoom, with participants cooking along at the same time with Fallon! Once you sign up, you’ll get the recipe emailed to you. The recipe will also have many substitutions and Fallon is available to help participants tailor the recipe to their availability and food preferences.
